An Interview with Laurence Atelier, author of The Iran Imperative

Welcome back to our faithful readers! Today, we're bringing you an interview with Laurence Atelier, author of the exciting spy thriller, The Iran Imperative. Laurence worked in government and private industry for over three decades. He has published widely on secret societies, politics, Indian affairs and the environment.

-Hi, Laurence! We are thrilled to have you in for a chat today. What can you tell our readers about your spy thriller, The Iran Imperative?

LAURENCE: This spy thriller is all about a covert plan by the United States to invade Iran and seize control of its rich oil reserves that entangles an American archaeologist searching for the Ark of the Covenant. Rogue CIA agents, the New World Order agenda, Freemasonry, and government corruption play out in this high octane thriller.

-I’m assuming that you’ve read a bunch of novels from this genre. Would you compare your work to anything else that you’ve read?
LAURENCE: I read a number of spy thrillers and biographies of former CIA or Mossad operatives before and during the writing of my novel. Some of my reviewers have compared my novel to Tom Clancy's thrillers, which is quite the compliment.

-This blog is written to provide fledgling/wannabe authors with advice on how to get their own material published. Do you have any advice for our readers when it comes to finishing their own manuscripts and sending their work out for the world to see?

LAURENCE: I self-published my novel using CreateSpace. They were great and economical to work with.

-Is there anything new in the works for you? Should we expect a sequel to The Iran Imperative or are you “one-and-done”?

LAURENCE: I'm working on a sequel to The Iran Imperative.

-You’ve “published widely on secret societies”. This is incredibly intriguing to us here at Holy Cow… I’m Writing a Book?!. Can you throw us a bone here and slip us one secret?

LAURENCE: Freemasonry is a dominant secret society controlling the world and is intricately involved in the plot of my book.
